Terminal No.5 Storage Tank Expansion Work

S-Oil direct purchase LNG was stored in the LNG terminal of Gwangyang Steel Plant to provide a 200,000 ㎥ LNG tank for continuous supply.

We proceeded with the main body of the tank and process machinery work.

We have world's first flat bottom LNG storage tank (200,000㎥) using high manganese steel and secured welding procedure (WPS/PQR) for high manganese steel, and have 9% nickel steel and high manganese steel construction technology related to LNG Tanks, such as high manganese steel welding, fume collection and cleaning equipment construction.
